Turkish tourism revenue rose 11.6 percent in the fourth quarter from a year earlier, the Turkish Statistical Institute, or TurkStat, said.
Revenue advanced to $5 billion in the period, the agency in Ankara said in a statement on its Web site on Thursday.
In the whole of the year, tourism income was $21.2 billion, it said.
The tourism industry earned $21.9 billion in 2008 and $18.5 billion in 2007.
