2010 Shanghai World Expo will hold its grand opening at the expo site by the Huangpu River in 20 days.

In the park, with an area of 5.28 square kilometers, the preparations have entered the final stage. Outside the park, people around the world are being encouraged to visit the expo and travel in china.

In mid-March, Shanghai began to turn green. The Indus and camphor are decorating Shanghai to be even more alive. In the city park, people are talking more and more about the upcoming 2010 Shanghai World Expo. It has been one and half a century when London held the first World Exposition in 1851. Though the earth is becoming ever more of a close-knit village, people are still interested in seeing the customs of other countries.

Visiting the World Expo is very special for this year’s China Tour. Expo tourism expanding was in steady progress according to the National Tourism Administration’s general plan. Shanghai’s World Expo tourist caravan is an important promotional activity in this program.

70 million people are expected to visit Shanghai during the Expo. Currently 93 percent of the 24 million presale tickets have already been bought.
