British Airways plan to operate more than 60 percent of long-haul flights from London’s Heathrow airport during a five-day cabin crew strike starting on May 18.
British Airways said on its website, about %50 of of short-haul services from Europe’s busiest airport will also operate, taking a total number of 60,000 passengers a day, or %70 of the passengers who have ticket bookings.
London-based British Airways is facing a 20-day strike as 12,000 cabin crew go on a strike after Unite union members rejected the latest offer on pay and staffing.
The airlines plans to maintain its services with the help of eight leased aircraft.
