The fourth biennial International Tourism and Media (ITAM) conference will be held, Prato, Italy from July11-13, 2010.
The convention will be hosted by Monash and La Trobe will explore how to develop relationship between tourism and the media, including film-induced tourism.
It seeks to move tourism and media knowledge forward through presentation and discussion that will lead to further research and publications. It will encourage collegial communication, interaction and collaboration, with opportunities for group and individual discussion and debate.
According to one of the organizers Dr Glen Groy, participants are from a broad range of interests and backgrounds within the field of tourism and media research and after the conference, abstracts will also be posted on e-Review of Tourism Research.
