The German travel industry warned the Canary Islands to adopt a stronger presentation and much lower price strategy to rise its market share it lost.
In recent years, Canary Islands had a serius competition with Egpyt and Turkey. The Tour operators felt necessary to warn the country for the price and advertising, since it failed to get back the share losted in German market.
Because of the economic crisis, Egypt reduced the hotel prices, and as a rival Canary Islands was placed in difficult circumstances.
