Under the agreements, visa procedures have been lifted and a nuclear power plant will be constructed.

The two countries also signed a $20 billion deal for construction of Turkey’s first nuclear power plant in the southern Mediterranean province of Mersin. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey and Russia aimed at reaching a trade volume of $100 billion within the next five years.
