Turkey will occupy the largest stall at Russia’s biggest tourism event, Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Ministry.
The Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT) will kick off on March 13 for the 25th time, the statement said.
The opening of the stall will be done by Culture and Tourism Minister Numan Kurtulmus, who is also expected to meet with key tourism professionals at the fair.
Turkey has been continuously represented in the fair since 1994, its inaugural year, and at last year’s fair it won the Best Destination Presentation award.
The 1,254-square-meter stall features seven different sections — from north to south and east to west — that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Anatolia.
Promoting regions and destinations will take priority in Turkey’s presentation.
Turkish Airlines and 29 other tourism sector groups and 12 private enterprises will also hold activities under the Culture and Tourism Ministry umbrella.
