Richard Branson, owner of the Virgin Atlantic held a press conference in Newport Beach, California. Branson said they were working to develop a Submarine jet plane. “5.5 meters long submarine jet plane would dive in the deepest part of the oceans” added also Branson. He said that they were named the jet submarine plane as ‘Virgin Oceanic’, which will make investigate deepest part of the oceans. “We are planning to surface unknown sea creature which never seen before, Company spent nearly 10.000 USD for project,” Branson noted.
Meanwhile, the company is planning to investigate even deepest parts of the ocean. Virgin Oceanic has a highly intensive timetable at the moment. It will dive firstly 10.971 deep Marian Trench and later Porto Rico Trench which 8.500 meters deep. It also dives to Molloy Trench in Arctic sea, and Indian Ocean’s Diamantine Trench and Sandwich Trench in the Atlantic Ocean.
A First Commercial Sea Plane was also tested successfully in California’s Newport Beach by the same company last month.
